natureplus quality seal

The IBO is a founding member of natureplus e.V., natureplus Testing Institute and the natureplus Contact Point in Austria. The European natureplus® quality label was developed in 2001 to promote sustainability. The quality label provides consumers and construction professionals in all European countries with a way to identify the best products for sustainable construction. The natureplus® quality label is a recognised environmental label in accordance with ISO 14024 (only in german) and is awarded to building products which,

  • are made of renewable, recyclable or sustainable available raw materials,
  • have been produced in an energy-efficient and "clean" manner and
  • do not emit any substances harmful to the environment or health, and which do not pollute the indoor air quality in particular.
