Guide to calculating the "grey energy" of buildings

The guide is part of an integrated assessment system for housing estates that is currently under development whose aim it is to operationalise the international climate protection targets for Austria. The Swiss assessment model of the 2000 W Society for Sites is used as a reference point.
In the context of the Urban Area Parameters 2017 project, first steps were taken to adapt the central building blocks to the Austrian framework conditions. The core of the project was to derive specific guideline values (per m²) and specific target values (per person) for the sectors "building operation", "grey energy" and "everyday mobility".
The guide for calculating the "grey energy" of buildings is part of the results. It strives to make an extensive uniform calculation of the "grey energy" of buildings over their lifecycle.
