Project objectives
Documenting environmental performance indicators is, in principle, manageable even for SMEs in the construction sector, but it requires cooperation between manufacturers, building materials suppliers and contractors. This is because the information required for sustainability calculations is already available across various sources. In the project initiated by the Bau.Energie.Umwelt Cluster, companies from the construction trade, construction industry and building materials trade will learn about and implement the digital documentation of construction project-related sustainability indicators.
Project content
The project consists of training measures and specific support for the implementation of processes for the digital documentation of construction project-related sustainability indicators. The training workshops will focus on the following topics relating to construction products: ‘ESG’, ‘EPD’, ‘Data’, ‘Processes’ and ‘Organisation’.
The benefit for participating companies lies in the automated fulfilment of sustainability documentation requirements for construction projects, thereby improving cost-effectiveness and providing a corresponding market advantage.
